Sierra EV highway range and real-world range
At a steady 120 km/h, we estimate the GMC Sierra EV Denali Extended Range (11.5 kW charger) covers about 507 km on a full charge, versus 660 km rated.

Sierra EV highway range at 120 km/h
NRCan's tests show the Denali Extended Range (11.5 kW charger) using 21% more energy on the highway than in the city, so highway range is lower the combined rating. NRCan's highway cycle averages well under 100 km/h, so we take its highway figure and reduce it by 15% for 120 km/h. The Sierra EV ranks #7 of 62 on this estimate.

Sierra EV real-world range
Real-world range depends on speed, temperature, wheels and load. Mixed driving in mild weather usually lands near the rated 660 km. Sustained highway speeds pull it toward the 507 km estimate, and a cold highway trip can drop it further; see the Sierra EV winter range. For trip planning, most drivers use between 10% and 80% (charging stops) or 100% (leaving home) of the battery, which is about 376 to 483 km of highway driving.
