ZDX highway range and real-world range
At a steady 120 km/h, we estimate the Acura ZDX A-Spec AWD covers about 382 km on a full charge, versus 489 km rated.

ZDX highway range at 120 km/h
NRCan's tests show the A-Spec AWD using 17% more energy on the highway than in the city, so highway range is lower the combined rating. NRCan's highway cycle averages well under 100 km/h, so we take its highway figure and reduce it by 15% for 120 km/h. The ZDX ranks #35 of 62 on this estimate.

ZDX real-world range
Real-world range depends on speed, temperature, wheels and load. Mixed driving in mild weather usually lands near the rated 489 km. Sustained highway speeds pull it toward the 382 km estimate, and a cold highway trip can drop it further; see the ZDX winter range. For trip planning, most drivers use between 10% and 80% (charging stops) or 100% (leaving home) of the battery, which is about 283 to 364 km of highway driving.
